Ryan Dempster suspended for 5 games

Boston Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster has been suspended for five games for hitting New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez (otherwise known as A-Rod) in the top of the second inning Sunday night. Dempster being suspended five games means that he would miss his next start, assuming that he does not appeal the suspension.
